Content At Scale Review

Content at Scale review

If you need to produce SEO-optimized content at scale (and who doesn't nowadays) then you may be tempted to check out Content at Scale.

They say you can write long-form "awesome content for any niche in minutes."

That always makes me cringe, because, if you're going to do it properly, it always - always! - takes longer than mere "minutes."

It does sound great, though. They say their AI takes what is already working based on top-ranking content for your target keywords and then does a completely fresh rewrite modeled from it.

Content at Scale says you don't need to worry about if a writer has experience or knowledge in or of a particular industry...

2600+ Words SEO'd Blog Post

What you do is take a keyword (or hundreds of them) - their words, not mine - that you want to rank for, and "minutes later have a 2,600+ word blog post that's optimized and nearly publish-ready." Not sure what the "nearly" part means?

You can also use an existing URL to have it provide fodder. Look, I know I'm sounding a bit down about all this, but... it just seems like a mill, grinding and spitting out pages of ___ (fill in the blank).

If that's what your business model is, then "fine," go for it.

But for the 'average' solopreneur, you're more likely to insist on writing a page that helps your reader - not purely for the entertainment value or how many ads Google can stuff on it.

We all know that Google rewards websites that have "fresh, exciting content" on a regular basis. The old saying is, "If you can't beat them, join them," but I respectfully choose to not join again (maybe later). Talk about waffling...

I'd rather put in some old-fashioned leg work. (Who am I kidding?)

What's the Difference Between Content At Scale and ChatGPT?

To see larger images (with a blue caption link) simply click on the link or image and the"Gallery" feature will open. You can scroll through all the images. To exit, click "Close X" in the lower RH corner.

Take a look at this chart: it truly is mind-blowing what they are doing at Content at Scale. I have to wonder if I'm reading the "Time to produce 20 blog posts 2500 words long," correctly.

I see 20 minutes for Content at Scale, and 4 hours 40 minutes for ChatGPT ... to create TWENTY blog posts.

Jeez o' Pete. I'm such a slacker...

Who Content At Scale is For?

I totally agree with their descriptions of who they're well-suited for:

  • Companies doing content marketing and wanting to scale
  • Agencies wanting a better process and more profit
  • Startups that raised funds and need to hit the ground running
  • Multi-site operators that want content for multiple sites

They do say that their service is for people who need to produce content and need to automate more of the SEO- and content-marketing process; a single writer can go from writing 20 blog posts from scratch per month, to editing and optimizing 50+ blog posts in a WEEK...

Mind. Blown.

AI-Detection, etc.

Now for the AI-detection part of the package, taken directly from their website:

AI Detector for ChatGPT, GPT4, Bard & More
Use our AI Detector (now with 98% accuracy) to see if your text is human or AI-generated from ChatGPT, GPT4, & Bard. Our AI checker is one of the most trusted and goes deeper than generic AI content detectors. If your writing is AI-detected, it may negatively affect how search engines rank content, professors grade essays, and even readers' opinions.

and ...

Want Undetectable AI Content?
Our proprietary content platform uses a mix of 3 AI engines, NLP and semantic analysis algorithms, crawls Google, and parses all the top-ranking content to put research-backed, long-form, SEO-driven blog posts together. This isn’t an AI assistant, this is a human-level, long-form, blog post-producing machine!

Content At Scale Background

Content at Scale launched in September of 2022 and claims to be the world's fastest-growing AI writing platform for SEO marketers. Their service uses natural language processing and a trained AI model using AI to detect patterns, along with forecasting probable word choices.

Content at Scale says their app understands sentence structure and other characteristics that often lead to a higher AI probability.

Content at Scale claims they are a pioneer and best in coverage in AI detection and have a 98% accurate AI checker and simplified scoring.

They trained their checker on billions of pages of data and it looks for patterns that have the telltale AI written feel such as repetitive words, generic tone, and if there is a natural flow, or not. It also analyzes sentence structure too.

They rate the scanned content on a percentage scale, for example:
"Human vs AI Content" and a score that might say "85% highly likely to be Human!" and "50% Unclear if it is AI content!"

To join, you need to "request an invite" on this page:

Content At Scale's Aim

Their aim at Content at Scale is to help marketers, publishers, agencies and content freelancers adapt to AI content without losing the human touch.

They do this by using the most advanced technology stacks ever built for SEO blogging with AI.

Their founder, Justin McGill, built LeadFuze back in 2014 and grew it to be the #1 prospecting tool for business lead generation.

In 2021, Justin - with the help of others - launched Content at Scale. The rest is history.

I used to use their service. It was just too expensive for me.

  • Solo — 8 Blog Posts ($31.25 per post — $250/mo).
  • Starter — 20 Blog Posts ($25 per post — $500/mo).
  • Scaling — 50 Blog Posts ($20 per post — $1,000/mo).
  • Agency — 100 Blog Posts ($15 per post — $1,500/mo).

Additional Post Credits — $25 each.

I know their emphasis on the website is to "replace 1 full-time or 2 freelance writers..." or even "5 full-time or 10 freelance writers."

However, when you're just starting out as a solo entrepreneur, you're highly likely nowhere near the stage of requiring additional writing staff. (Yes, I know I sound sour-grapey right now) LOL.

They do have a seven-day trial period at $39.99 which gives you unlimited access to the full app.

PROS

  • Creates blog posts at warp speed. Detects AI. Includes CopyScape (plagiarism). Has a WP plugin too. It's great if you are creating content - at scale.

CONS

  • Is costly when you're just starting out.

COST factor
cheap $ - reasonable $$ - expensive $$$

$$$

ePubTechReviews rates Content at Scale three dollar signs due to the initial cost factor.
