Welcome to the AI music generator reviews page.
I'm still agog with the writing aspect of AI, but then I stumbled upon the music side of AI! It's all amazing technology, right?
It means we mere mortals can produce our own music, and not worry about royalties and licensing issues when we want to add music to our videos, etc.
While these AI music generator reviews listed below are NOT
full reviews per se, these informative tidbits should be enough to
entice you to click on over to read and learn much more on their respective website's home pages.
FTR: I'm heading on over to "Soundraw" right after this page is uploaded. Read why Soundraw is piquing my curiosity, below!
Amper Music was founded in 2014 and aims to generate original music without human composers and uses algorithms to compose high-quality music.
They say that users can customize their tunes by setting different parameters such as genre, mood, the instrumentation desired, and the overall length of the composition.
In generating these types of music tracks, they're considered to be royalty-free without excessive restrictions for their use in videos, commercials, and presentations for example.

AIVA stands for "Artificial Intelligence Virtual Artist" and was created back in 2016 by researchers in Paris at the University of Pierre and Marie Curie.
This app also uses algorithms that have analyzed over 30,000 scores from classical masters such as Bach, Beethoven, and Mozart, thus identifying patterns in harmony, melody, and orchestration.
AIVA produced its first album in 2017 which set the record for the first AI-produced album. AIVA states their aim is to complement human composers, not replace them.

Boomy is an AI music app created in 2018 by Anthropic (who also created "Claude.ai"). Boomer generates custom royalty-free songs using AI.
Boomy claims you can generate songs in any style or genre in "just a few seconds." Don't know about you, but nothing good takes "just a few seconds."
However, this app is trained on millions of songs that they say can produce high-quality output. Their aim is to "open up" music production to a broad(er) audience!

Ecrett Music is another AI company that generates original music and was founded in 2018 and is based in the United Kingdom. They claim to have developed advanced AI music systems that can independently compose songs across genres!
It has also been trained on a massive data set of at least 20,000 songs in order to capture compositional techniques with melodic and harmonic sound structures.
Their proprietary AI named "Emmy" enables anyone to create royalty-free music for games, podcasts, and videos through its web platform and APIs. Big companies, and I mean big! have used Ecrett's AI music production tech. OK, those big names are Microsoft, TikTok, and Metacast.

Soundful began in 2019 with funding from giant Sony Music Entertainment (and others) and is located in Austria. They have developed an AI system called "Wolfgang" and claim it can generate original songs, instrumentals, and soundtracks!
Wolfgang is trained in pop, rock, and classical which means users can generate different musical styles specified by genre, mood, length, and structure.
Soundful says its AI produces high-quality MP3 music without any licensing restrictions. Sounds good to me!
This company also provides APIs and white-label solutions for companies to add AI music to their products.

Soundraw is an Estonian startup that uses AI to automate audio production. Soundraw was founded in 2021 and has developed an advanced generative AI system called "Iris."
Iris is used for composing (and producing) music, voice-overs, and sound effects and has learned from millions of audio samples that capture the nuance of different musical genres.
Users set parameters via its app (or API) so they can specify the mood, the length of a piece, and a specific style. Soundraw generates high-quality royalty-free audio files, again, "in seconds."
Where Soundraw differs from the others mentioned on this page is its ability to make sound effects and background noise!
Backed by investors like YouTube co-founder Steve Chen, Soundraw is
using state-of-the-art AI to disrupt professional audio creation and
expand what's musically possible. Personally, I'm going to click on the link below to learn even more myself! I'm intrigued with the sound effects and background noise!
